Stacked

It’s easter break here and the kids are off. The weather is good – for ducks and cold to boot. So it’s a day for pj’s till noon, clearing out cubboards and putting on plays (the kids, not me!)

I am slacking off a little on the painting too as I’ve set myself a deadline of the end of the month to launch the new website (it’s the 29th!). It’s coming on, but one needs the patience of job and a proof reader from the Irish times wouldn’t go a miss either.

This is a little study I did this morning almost in black and white

Stacked 7×7 inch oil on gesso bord €195

I haven't stopped by in awhile. What a diverse selection of paintings you have! They're all very well done. Love the movement in these cups. Looks like your busy hurling them around! I want to crawl into your lovely yellow blanket, but then the one's on the line are equally inviting!

Enjoy your kids on break. They do grow up too fast...

Painting will wait.

This is awesome! I love the way the angular brushwork ads to the teetered rotation of the stack. Just fantastic. I'm tellin you, this is a gem. If I wasn't broke I'd buy it myself.

Ró,
"almost in black and white" - I like that! The pedant objects! I hope your holidays go well. Happy Easter and lots of love to you and all the family.
